Yes, it can. Smarter Surfaces magnetic paint is tested to withstand temperatures as low as -16°C and it is also resistant to UV light. It’s easy! Use your magnetic and dry erase paint surface in exactly the same way as you would use a whiteboard or magnetic surface. Write-on wipe-off - repeat! Any high quality whiteboard accessories and rare earth magnets will work with Magnetic Whiteboard Paint - white.
What roller to use for painting walls with Magnetic Whiteboard Paint - white?
We recommend a smooth lint free roller such as mohair for application of magnetic whiteboard paint, remember to use a brand new roller for the whiteboard paint.
Can Magnetic Whiteboard Paint be applied to any surface?
Magnetic Whiteboard Paint White adheres seamlessly to almost any smooth surface. This includes metal, glass, concrete, and wood. However, if you're looking for a coloured magnetic and whiteboard surface, then opt for the Smarter Surfaces magnetic whiteboard paint clear instead.
Can I use Smarter Surfaces Magnetic Whiteboard Paint - White on wood?
Yes, absolutely. However, you must make sure that the wooden surface is smooth and ready for application. To do this, start by filling any holes with filler and sanding the surface until it’s even. Now apply Magnetic Paint, followed by a primer, and then finish with the whiteboard paint. For obtaining the best results, lightly sand between each coat of magnetic paint and primer.
Can I paint over wallpaper with Magnetic Whiteboard Paint - white?
Yes, you can apply Magnetic Whiteboard Paint white over a smooth wallpaper only. Avoid applying over textured wallpaper. If the wallpaper is porous, use Primer in white for attaining the best results.
